Sacramental

As a part of the Ministerial Region of the Good Shepherd, St Benedict's supports the parish each year in running the Sacramental Program. 

The parish enables students in Year 3 and above the opportunity to complete the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Holy Communion in the same year.  Students, along with their parents, attend 6 sessions outside of school hours in preparation for receiving the sacraments.  Parents are able to choose a lesson time, either in a classroom at school or at the parish centre.  The school and parish advertise when enrolment to participate in this program is, with lessons and the celebration of the sacraments generally occurring during and completed before the end of Term 1 each year.
